i do think it's a bit disrespectful to the other party involved in the act to itemize sexual histories in such a public forum.

 

I had sex at 20. I had a bunch of BJ's and Handjobs before then but I never wanted to have intercourse until I thought I was going to marry the girl. We didn't get married of course, but it was good experience. We dated for two years. Five years later though I don't do any one night stands and have only slept with girls that I date. I had actually one one night stand that was a threesome with two crazy girls in Houston and I really didn't like the way I felt the next day. Sex is easy to joke about but I kind of like treating it as a special thing. When you start to trivialize it then it becomes less important to you. I have dated several girls that I wasn't real serious about and we just stuck to manual and oral and it was great. We still are good friends and don't have that awkward "we ****ed" feeling when we are around each other.

And anyone who had sex below 16, ya'll were too young. Wow, I might have fooled around a little back then but ya'll were still children. I know a bunch of people who have done that and quite honestly if I find out from a girl that she had sex before 16 it really turns me off. To each his own, but I think most guys are turned off by girls who lost it really young. For some reason guys who do it that young are usually considered cool.

Maybe that's the deal...maybe some people's first times are not their most intimate details. I mean, having sex when you're like 13 for example and didn't know what you were doing might not mean anything to you now.

 

I think people do it because they don't have a face. I do find it weird when people have actually met others on the board and share details on the board with people they know a little bit, but not very deeply. I think it is easier to let people know of your problems and of your personal details because people are generally not going to judge, and if they do it is very limited how personal you can take it. Also, these people know nothing about who you really are and so it will generally not affect the rest of your life. What we say in this BBS, stays in the BBS.

 

I was 15 at the time. My friend, let's call her "Stephanie" (17 yrs old) had just broken up with her boyfriend of two years the day before. We were at a party, and she looked really sad and down. I sat and talked to her, and acted all interested as she poured her feelings out to me.

My friends were all wondering why the hell I wasn't busy getting wasted with them, and wasting my time consoling this chick. I told them to just wait, just wait. I continue to act like I give a damn, as I listen whole-heartedly to everything she has to say.

That was the last time I ever did Stephanie. Her and her boyfriend eventually got back together. Needless to say, he wasn't too thrilled about what had happened. But hey, I got mine, right? Also, as a side note, Steph got knocked up the summer after graduating high school. She's now married with two kids.

 

but thats just it...no one yet has named names...and considering there are very few pepole here that actually know each other in RL....that would negate the disrespectfullness that one might argue that the discussion is invoking.


it is the anonymous nature of the board that allows people to drop all pretense and be themselves.
Unless of course you have met poeple outside of the board, then it might become weird...unless you really hit it off with them..and then it just becomes friends talking to each other with an audience.

i guess for some of you, that's true...but there are more than a few people here who know who i am, really. who know the people i dated.

but ultimately...i just don't understand the need to share that kind of information with strangers. again..i'm clearly in the minority on that point, so i'm not saying you're wrong...it's just hard for me to understand.

I suppose I don't see any problem in discussing it because, while I was young at the time, I don't feel I made a mistake. I'm still with her (Goin' on two and a half years) and I love her so incredibly much. As long as you don't disrespect to person who it was with as you tell about it ("Yeah man, I got her so f*cking wasted!! It was awesome!" Har har.), it seems fine to me. We both love and are proud of having each other, so there doesn't really seem to be any thing to hide. Sex shouldn't be something to be ashamed of. Though I do agree it is a personal act and if you don't want to discuss it that's totally cool too. The way I see it is, aside from my family, there's no one, even talking face to face, that I would have a problem telling this kind of information to.

Oh and just for clarification, she feels the same way and has never had a problem with myself or her talkin' bout this sort of stuff.
