35, been a fan since 1984 when my mom took me to a Tigers at Padres World Series game in San Diego. Grew up a huge Tony Gwynn fan and become diehard Astros in 1999 when I moved to Houston and jumped on the bandwagon.

I completely misread the thread title / question. I thought it asked how old were you.

I'm not in the 13-21 age....would be nice to go back in time though. I fall into the next age category. Started watching the Astros as soon as I had access to their games on tv...which was back in HS.

I'm 27, and remember ft he Derek bell, alou, Johnson and Eusebio days... My family went to a kids run the bases game in the early to mid 90's but the best part is we were down by ten until the eighth or ninth... My dad was pissed and wanted to leave but stayed so we could run the basis... Well we cam back and won the game! My dad said it was one of the best comebacks he had seen ever! Anyways I want to say that this is my first memory of the stros

Remember sitting next to my Dad in left center back at the Dome when Rafael Ramirez hit a homerun just below us and to our left. IIRC that game went into extras.

As a kid, when I'd go to visit my great grandmother, she'd sit me on her lap, kiss me, and then start talking about the Astros. She'd wonder why Bagwell wasn't hitting third last night or why Caminiti wasn't clean up or if that was the last time they were going to trade Derek Bell. She loved her some Killer B's.

I remember going to the dome, and every time we'd go Eusebio would hit a home run. No idea why, but we'd go to like a game a year and he hit one at least three years in a row when we were there.

I remember getting a killer b's poster as a promotion. Probably the first real promotion I remember, other than t-shirts and things.

Although my first live game wasn't until I was like 8-10. I'm 28 now, fwiw.

    "Isn't this Henry Alva Pfaffenbach?"
    "My mother was a Pfaffenbach."
    "Not... Doreen Pfaffenbach?"
    "From Minnesota?"
    "Yeah."
"Then we're cousins! We used to spend our summers in Eagle River."

    "EAGLE RIVER?!?"
