How much will Yao make next year as a Rocket?

    I think Yao probably would rather rockets not want him back at all so he can have a chance to sign somewhere else for more than the league minimum. if the rockets offer him the league minimum, it's hard for him to decline or he risks of ruining his reputation as a loyalty before money kind of guy. but the reality is he needs make as much money as possible if he keeps playing. word is his shanghai sharks is losing money every year and he just can't afford to keep funding the team out of his own pocket going forward if he only makes minimum in NBA.

    Something close to the minimum would be cool. I see no reason to "move on"' in that case as you are risking nothing. Would absolutely suck to see him become the missing piece for the Heat or some crap like that.
