How much will Von Wafer offer David Andersen for #13

I can't believe we have a thread discussing this when we don't know for sure that Von is joining the team. It'd be nice to have another option on the bench, but whether he'll make a real impact on the rotation, assuming he gets on the team, remains to be seen. I hope so. Maybe his Euro experience, clearly not fun for the guy, was a needed bucket of cold water in his face and he'll wake up and smell the coffee, put a bit of his ego and immaturity in his back pocket, where they belong. As for his number, are you guys kidding? If I were Anderson, I'd laugh!

For a guy that isn't even on this team, he has the most threads on clutchfans as any Rockets player on the team right now.

Enough with Von Wafer. Why is everyone keep thinking that for some reason he's still a Rockets. He just played for us one season. Von Wafer is no longer a Rockets so enough with the Von talk.

I rather have David Anderson that Von any day. David is the real #13, not Von.

 

We like Von, he's was being actively pursued and has more chance of coming to the team than Iggy and all these other players being talked about. That's why he's got threads.

 

#13 has been, and always will be Kelvin Cato's number.

FWIW, Wafer didn't wear #13 until he came here. He wore #22 with the Lakers, Clippers, and Nuggets. He couldn't wear #22 with the Blazers (#24) or us because of Clyde's retired jersey. He couldn't wear #24 again with us because of Moses Malone's retired jersey. Personally, I don't think he gives a crap about the number 13.
