Well, you definitely know better than me about the Nuggets, so I'm not about to argue with you about it. When Antonio is healthy what are they going to do with Juwan?
My mistake...I meant Robinson in that first sentence. I am pretty sure that SA had an arena deal before we did, so it should be built within the next few years. The Spurs have a nice core that IMO is underrated. And I think that some of the pieces of the core should be eligible for early bird contracts soon. Antonio Daniels has improved somewhat steadily the last couple of seasons and Charles Smith is good for double digit scoring most games. Rose is an excellent hustle guy and grabs 6 boards a game. Porter and Ferry are still decent role players and should be for at least 2 more seasons. I just don't see Duncan bolting. I am not sure if he owns a home in San Antonio, but I have read that his girlfriend likes it in San Antonio.
who cares? play dice at pg and howard at sg for all i care. it doenst matter. howard isnt in the plans. just a guy to take up some minutes.
Like I said, IMO underrated. Daniels, Smith, Rose, Porter, Ferry are all pretty good players. Daniels and Rose, at least, would be welcomed on every team in the league. They are both solid players. Daniels is a pretty good perimeter player(He is not, however, a solution at PG) and Rose is a good hustle player. He gets 9 points and 6 boards in about 20 minutes a game. At 6'5-6'7, he is much too small to be playing center and power forward, but has found a way to do it well. With some crafty drafting, free agent pickups, and a trade or two, the Spurs are just as good an option for Duncan as Orlando, Dallas, or anywhere else he is rumored to go.
nuggets got that too - bowen, posey, williams, lenard...etc...i like rose though. hes tough as hell. but the rest, lets be honest - nothing great. you put them on another team and they arent much. you put them next to the twin towers, and then you have something. no towers? no talent.
