    If Yao is not a 20 10 player next year then I'll be extremely disappointed. I have a funny feeling we're not going to get the same ol' humble Yao anymore. The contract year will always have a big impact on any player- and the next time you hear the annoying phrase 'Pass it to Yao', it'll actually be Yao saying 'Pass it to Yao'.

    We need to put that mentality in Yao. "Why have trillions when you can have billions."

    cuz yao will give half of his money to china bball association, I hope CD can find someway with team yao and let more money go into yao's own pocket.:)

    Yao will get the max, though he might not deserve it, at least from the BB stats. I wonder how $$$ Les is making from Yao jersey sales in China. I suspect from the business angle Yao will bring it in salary from ticket sales to merchandizing.

    Yao only needs to pay portion of his first 3 years salary to Chinese basketball association.
    after that it has nothing to do with china. stop spreading rumors plz.
