Yeah, I'm a big fan. You have to pick the right movie. I prefer action or comedy whenever I go there. No dramas or anything serious. Not bad prices either. $3.50 for a pint of Harp, which is pretty good.

How the heck do you get out of there for 30 bucks? Seems like I always spend 50-60 bucks there; that's 2 entrees, a kid's meal, and Fondeaux. Take out the Fondeaux and that's still 40-50 bucks. They don't have a lunch menu on Sundays, to my knowledge.

    $65.00 - parking ticket
    $10.00 - One's a Meal after gig
$10.00 - sodas and misc. for Rockets game

    $266.50

Would've been $30 without the parking crap.

Hate to quote myself, but I wanted to add something.

If you've never been to Alamo, I'd suggest getting there early for the show. For one thing, they usually play cool obsure little films or television shows that have some sort of connection to the movie beforehand. Also, it'll allow you to familiarize yourself with the process so you don't miss any of the show trying to figure it all out. Also, be aware that they generally close your tab about 2/3rds of the way through the movie and about halfway for the late showing.

Alamo is cool and all, but damn is it far away. I can't wait until they expand to the east side or inner loop.

A new one is opening up at 45 and Richey Rd., I think. I know for sure it's up that way somewhere, I think where that old AMC used to be.

    not too much...
Friday (I think) $23 or so at IHOP.
Friday - about $65 at Wal-Mart. (bad Isabel... buying myself some music to celebrate the end of the semester. Later I'll go look for all the good stuff Wal-Mart doesn't carry, but I start there first because if it is there it's cheaper.)
Saturday - nothing. (it wasn't my turn to buy dinner)
Sunday - $10.50 or so at Culver's for two people; about $55 for groceries (some of which were not mine).

Overall $155, mostly shopping. No entertainment. It was a working weekend. (just as well; can't afford much on this salary)

    I'm a "poor" college student, and I've spent $180 in the last 24hrs. :(

    Damnit.

I can't afford this, I used my "reserve" debit card tonight. :(

    Tix to Vegas = 228.40
Car Rental = 117.00 (split five ways)
Room Rental = 500 (split five ways)
    Cover at Rain = 40.00
    Drinks at Rain = 70.00
Olympic Garden = 350.00 (never go your first night in town with money burning a hole in your wallet!!)
    Breakfast Buffet = 12.00
    Cover at Tangerine = 10.00
    Drinks at Tangerine = 75.00
    Cover at Ra = 20.00
    Gas for Rental = 32.00
Lost wages while gambling = 65.00
Lost wages betting on the Rockets = 40.00
ESPNZone watching Rockets game = 23.00
NY NY Roller Coaster = 12.00

Total = $1100.80 Straight Cash Homey!!

It's all good though, if I could change one thing it would be not going to the Olympic Garden the first night (and that unfortunate Rockets whooping).

Looks like I'll be living like a pauper for the next few weeks while I try to pay the bills :D
