5 bedroom, 3 bath, with a finished basement that serves as a weight room/offseason training area on a 1 acre lot of gorgeous red and sugar maple trees in Clinton, Ia:

$817/month mortgage. Ahh, the beauty of living in the rural Midwest.

Same exact situation that I have. I was living in a 1 bedroom apartment at $290.00 rent per month not counting utilities.

And you're exactly right, red...how sweet it is!

RichRocket: Softball for my daughters, baseball for my son. My basement is large enough to hit off a tee and do soft toss hitting drills into a net and pitch both softball and baseball all winter long.

Downtown Chi, one bed, one bath, all the water I can drink, a basement apartment fit for an award-winning journalist... $750 a month.

The Dominicks across the street, the neighbors that don't mind when I play Humbie Pie records too loud, and the liquor store that has been serving me for a year even though I just turned 21 last May... priceless.

    I hate you all :D

Kelly, I have a 2 bed/1 bath in Lakeview. I'm not posting the rent. I'll just say the market up here is uber-inflated.
