chuck's impact has begun to show (very much so) in the box score. that's what will drive up his market value more than just forcing opponents into bad shots and being the team captain. last year i would've said he can get an extension for the next 3 years with annual 10% raises. now i believe he's due for a new contract. if brad miller got $4.4M over 3 years then chuck is going to be in the $4M-MLE range.
The funny thing is, players don't get paid based on how much they contribute to winning. If Joe Johnson gets 118 million, then Chuck deserves more than that.
