That's the problem with Cp3 he doesn't respect authority (the coach). He is at a stage where he doesn't listen to the coach anymore that's why he's not a good fit here. I mean that's a really odd complaint. Did you ever hear a coach criticize CP3 for this? He's a pg. He has contextual awareness as a player on the court to make a informed decision to change a play. It's equivalent to a qb seeing a defensive scheme and audibling a different play to counter the new scheme. CP3 has more than earned the trust of NBA coaches to change called plays.
Did any coach criticize LBJ or KD publicly for not following their plays? Yeah Cp3 has earned the cache but our rookies haven't so it's not a good practice to have your "role model" ignore what the coaches say. They gonna copy what he does and think they're the **** if they can ignore the coach. And the thing that grinds my gears with Cp3 is he is the choke God.
