Are we even allowed to offer 5 years?

That sounds a bit high... but I would be surprisingly OK with it.

This a point guard driven league now. You could sell me on having 2 high quality point guards on the payroll.

Goran also has value playing the Backup 2 spot because of his size. Martin is the Odd man out if you ask me.

I believe around the 7-8 range...he has proven himself to be a very good starter...I am hoping someone dont throw a ridiculous amount up there and the rockets are not able to match..I love Lowry but I think with his value being best on team that he should be traded..go as high as you can in the draft to get Bradley Beal...beal as superstar athletisism and range...he will be a superstar in the league

LOL Lowry has everyone spoiled. Starter pgs go for more than 5-6M a year, esp. one that's one the cusp of being elite like Lowry/Dragic. Conley is basically league average, and he's making what, 9M a year?

I think we can expect pay to pay up to that much with Dragic (personally if he keeps up this production I think he can be equal to a 12M player) but sadly his priority might be starting and not the $$$.

Bottom line though is convincing Lee and Dragic to stay on the team has got to be Morey's measuring stick, even more than getting a superstar. I think majority of the posters can understand him whiffing on Bosh and Melo (even if he sucks) and not being able to trade for Cousins and Rubio, but if he can't make these two guys stay on the team when we have capspace? Wow epic fail would be an understatement.

Yes, we have Lowry super cheap. He's way better than Conley, who is probably slightly overpaid.

give the man his reward money. I say 5.5 million euros or around seven million dollars. He is worth it and there is not much out there..realistically.

Probably like 8 million, to be honest though I don't mind tying up money in two point guards. You basically need two solid guards to do well in the NBA.

Now, if he stands to make anything more than that I say we let him walk.

He is most likely going elsewhere to start.

I think if the Rockets had traded away Martin's contract for an expiring (Kaman?) last deadline, they could have used the savings to re-sign both Dragic and Lee.

I think there is a pretty good chance they lose both players now, and I would rather have them than Martin personally.

If we want to keep Lee we will... he's an RFA

I really hope we don't lose Dragic

Conley was a 4th overall pick in the draft. He was getting MLE level money anyway. He re-signed with the Grizzlies for a full MLE type deal.
