Well thus far, I would think that T_mac's progress and adjustments he's making would have impressed you. He's looking better by the game and he's playing within a team concept, and his defense is looking better and better.
So far, D has been ok, improving.....but still not all that quick. On O, he has still not found his way, but the last game was his best even though he shot 1-5. The biggest issue is that he just looks slow, and has no explosion at all, no quick first step.... If that is the case, or he needs major minutes to get back to himself, I doubt he gets them here, and we don't have the time or money to wait on him. DD
yes,i AGREE with some points but not total.actually T-mac had got more injury than kobe ,which can't promise him to be in shape all the time.but what cause that injury happen so frequently.I think this guy needs to reflect on himself more.his life off game needs to be supervised prudently.over unrestraint has destroy his body as well as his motivation for win. today we are sad to say he is not a franised player any more,so to prove himself is the biggest issue currently.I do hope this guy could see that and win the confidence from the coach and his teammates again.
On this team, he's not average. And I say that because he has been acknowledged as being better than others on this team in passing and overall skill set. So, I would say with some time I think he can get some of it back. I don't know what that some thing will be though. With the explanations provided by Coach, I am cool with his approach on T-Mac. But I do hope that at some point soon he gets up to at least 12 minutes.
Kobe had 2 knee surgeries in 2 offseasons. One of them was done in Colorado. Did we ever see him out of shape? If you earn 20M/y, you can't be out of shape, ever. No excuse.
T-Mac needs more playing time, 8 minutes is just too little. What's the harm in giving him 15 minutes and seeing what he can do? Let him at least have bench player minutes.
The doctors recommend taking it slowly, and monitoring the knee to see how it responds. Adelman didn't listen to the doctors and listened to his player in Webber, and it hurt both the team, and Webber. He will not make that mistake again. DD
If he can set a side his ego and take care of his body then he could probably be a good solid above the average bench player for the next few years.
