Well we will see next year or after the deadline what McGrady looks like.

There all sorts of doubt in my mind about your statement.

If...who knows, i say we might win more because Tmac can create shot for order and he draw a lot of attention, so it would take some burden off the rest of the guy and make it easier for them to score.

Honestly, I think we would have won tonight at least if T-Mac was in the line up

That is only if he signs a new NBA contract. If his next pro basketball contract winds up being overseas, which is where it should be IMO, then it might not be possible for us to see what he looks like except for what we would read up on in the papers about him.

    I don't.

He would have jacked up 20 shots and made 6. He would have been no help on D and AB would have scored 14 because TMac would have dominated the ball.

Rockets would have lost by 15

You just hate. He would have created so many more opportunities for the rest of the team.

This year's Tmac is no longer the Tmac 3 years ago, everybody knows that.
Otherwise a trade would have happened already.

So it won't make much a difference if Tmac is playing or not.

and you know that from 48 minutes of play?

do you know how hard it is to move 22 million dollars? and every team only saw tracy played 48 minutes. you can't judge anything from those minutes and the only memories left is from last year. that's not exactly a confidence builder for most GMs if they want to trade for tracy.

You mad? Stop defending T-Mac like a homo and give your explanation of why he might be an asset instead of a liability if he were to play. The other poster gave his idea of how the Rockets would play, which is definitely accurate.

    T-Mac,

    1) dominates the ball
    2) shoots really low %
    3) doesn't help on defense
    4) complains a lot
    5) would definitely ruin/change the momentum

    Tell us your homer version.

Tmac has practiced with the team for a while. We also saw a clip of practice, Tmac obviously wasn't even close to the old Tmac.
I believe RA has seen a lot more than both you and me. If he was really good, he'd get a lot more minutes.
But from what he showed on the court, he didn't deserve more minutes, he wasn't the Tmac I expected. That's a fact, not assumption.

so he's finally healthy again (moreso than last year) and yet the way he described his play is of last year? nobody knows how he's going to play or will play in the future off of 48 minutes.

if i remember correctly, every year tracy is somewhat healthy, we've won 50+ games.

he's back playing 2-3 months playing before he's even expected to practice. think about that.

arenas took 2-3 months to even regain any explosiveness back THIS YEAR. and he was coming back on the right schedule, not ahead.

we would have to give tracy at least until the all-star break if he had kept playing (and playing at 20+ minutes a game) to see if he has any game left.

remember, the doctor who performed his surgery said he would not fully resume basketball until one year from his surgery.

And one moer thing: If Tmac really played well in practice or on the court, RA and Morey would showcase him more to get a better deal. That would be a win/win situation.

But since Tmac couldn't produce, it would be a lose/lose situation to play Tmac more. His value would go down further, and Rockets would be worse as a team.

What Tmac did on the court to deserve more minutes? If he couldn't play a lick of defense in just 7 minutes, how would you expect any defense in 20+ minutes?

20+minutes per game at the risk of the team? That's not gonna happen. Rockets were winning and had great chemistry, so what if in 20+ minutes and Tmac still played like crap? Rockets lost the chance to develop younger players and lost games , Tmac's value went down. It becomes the worst thing that could happen.

couldn't produce? 10 pts in 8 minutes v. the clippers and he got 30 less seconds the next game? tell me, what can you show in 8 minutes? even other coaches around the league question that move. he couldn't play 9 mintues and 30 seconds? or 10? or 11? really? c'mon now.

regardless of tmac played well or not, he wasn't going to get his minutes. the team was playing well then and adelman never wanted to play mcgrady.

the team felt disrespected from what tracy did last year, and this is their retaliation. that was all it is.

like i said many times before, amare went scoreless 4 of his first 6 games back in his SECOND attempt. you think his minutes got cut?
