For those that have an electric shaver, are there any good ones that don't irritate the skin?

I got a Braun one around 2003/2004 and it was killing my skin, so then I exchanged that one for a Norelco and it was doing the same thing so I just gave up and went back to a razor.

The only thing is that those weren't like the newer ones that have shaving cream patches which I think might irritate the skin a little less.

    Any suggestions?

I would probably get a shadow if I were white ... heh. By the next day I already have a little stubble, but it's still low enough that I can get by without shaving. If I let it last longer than 48 hours though, it starts to look unsmooth and it itches all day long.

I also get grey hairs on the goatee ... very annoying. I've tried Just for Men a few times and it only lasts a week or two before they show up again. I think it's hereditary.

I hate shaving. I live right next to an old school barber shop. I just let it grow and once I start looking like a caveman / it itches too much, I go and get it taken off with a straight razor when I get my hair cut.

Then I start the cycle over again (3 weeks to 2 months).
