How many teams have failed to get past 1st round in last 12 years?

As somebody that's supported the Rockets with his time and money his entire life, this is what is the most disappointing. Out of those 4 teams, Houston's lack of success is definitely the most disheartening. When I criticize management and the team or individual players, it's because of this dubious statistic.

Great point. Not only am I wondering, but I'm actually very excited about this. It's something I'm definitely looking forward to. The Rockets should be able to get at least two very good NBA players for T-Mac's expiring contract and if played right, that should make the Rockets a contender (yes, even though they've haven't been out of the 1st round in 12 years) for a few years to come.
