Word. Colorado is a great state. I've lived in 3 states, set foot in about 15-18 others. Like many in this thread I've been up and down the West but never East of the Mississippi (Florida excluded).
You should man. Western Montana is God's Country. So pure. I wish I had appreciated it the first 7 years of my life.
I've been to 36 states. States I haven't been to: Alaska Hawaii Idaho Iowa Maine Minnesota Montana Nebraska North Dakota Rhode Island South Dakota Utah West Virginia Wyoming
Just to be clear, we're not counting layovers right? Texas Washington Oregon California Idaho Arizona New Mexico Louisiana Mississippi Georgia Florida Alabama South Carolina North Carolina Virginia New York New Jersey Pennsylvania Kentucky Tennessee West Virginia Rhode Island Illinois Also, I'd like to point out that I've driven through Utah, but refused to step foot in that state. I even used a bottle to urinate. I should get a life trophy for that.
I think you can count any state that you land in, and leave the airport. An eight-hour layover where I rented a car and drove around Charlotte is how I counted North Carolina.
I have 13 states left to visit. Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Massachusetts That's it! Then I will have them all covered.
Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New HAmpshire, Connecticut,New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, DC, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Oh and I went to Vermont when I was a fetus.
lol. no way! I consider myself north dakotan since I moved around so much & it's the only consistent home I have. I've got some family in Billings. But in North Dakota I've got family pretty much everywhere. Fargo, Bismark, Williston, Ray, Underwood.... all over the state. I get so excited when I meet people who are from or who have relatives from ND. often times we'll have similar experiences. I always have a few questions I ask them. Do you know what lefse is? do you have a Lutheran background? are you norwegian swedish or german? are you familiar with the phrase uffda? haha North dakotans pronounce BAG like BEG. RAG like REG. TAG like TEG. i actually just got my flight booked last week for my ND trip in august. when my family visits, the nearby small town actually puts that we visited in the newspaper.
I have been to all except: vermont, maine, south carolina, west virginia, wisconsin, kentucky, arkansas, iowa, minnesota, kansas, oklahoma, nebraska, south dakota, north dakota, wyoming, montana, new mexico, utah, idaho, oregon, washington So I guess I have been to 29. This includes Alaska and Hawaii (in addition, I have also been to Puerto Rico).
Just ten: Nevada Colorado Texas Louisiana Mississippi Alabama Georgia Florida North Carolina New York
I have stepped foot in 19 different states that I can remember. TX OK LA NM SC CO NY NJ FL UT NV VA MD AL TN AZ GA IN DC
Texas Louisiana Alabama Florida New York Minnesota Arizona Nevada California Washington Hawaii New Jersey hmm not many.
Wow. We might be related or something, that would be weird, (shut up Kam... no I'm not hooking you up). I'm Norwegian with relatives all around North Dakota, and I know lefse, my grandma made it well. My mom grew up in a Luthern Church in a small town called Gwinner, North Dakota where they manufactured the first Bobcat Skid-Steer Loaders. My Greatgrandfather was President of Melroe Bobcat when they started out. Small world man.
Texas Louisiana Mississippi Tennessee New York New Jersey Pennsylvania Massachusetts Alaska Maryland Connecticut Delaware New Hampshire I think thats it
