man....i just don't see it. glad you do. glad he's your boy. root for him like crazy. i certainly like the guy. but i see almost no development in this guy as a playmaker since the day he stepped on a court as a rookie.

yeah...MVP Marcus Giles' injury is holding them back. these are not your father's braves. poor pitching. less pop. this team doesn't have enough in the tank to keep up with teams like the phils and fish.
Giles batted .315 last year and hit 20+ homers and plays outstanding defense. I bet Drayton would take him once Kent left.
Giles is a good player. But Giles isn't enough to make a team that's 6 games under .500 into a division champion. As I said before the season started...they've just lost too much over the course of the last few seasons. When the pitching started falling down, they made up for it with tremendous offense. Then they let their two big RBI guys go to Baltimore and New York.
