How many of you were disappointed with the Brent Barry layup?

    not a big deal i think heck shaq last week layed in a shot when he was all alone underneath the basket on a fast break with no one around him.


    brent had some hamstring injuries last year he even said to bullard that he just got into the game and wasnt fully loose enough to go up and dunk at his age.

    the 26 year old barry would have reversed it, 36 year old barry is a bit smarter.

    all that matters was it went in and the rockets won

    If he can't dunk it from the free throw line, then he doesn't deserve his spot as the ninth man in our rotation!

    For the less attentive that's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11... a lot of years ago.

    I agree completely with those who said they'll take the easy two. I just want the team to stay focused.

    The historic and only real game SF3 played (against PHX I think) with the new look Rockets SF3 had a chance to dunk the ball but layed it in. When asked why, he said two points is two points. With age comes understanding, it doesn't matter how you win, who you win with, you just have to win....

    i dont think its wise to do so when someone is chasing you, i'll take the layup instead of getting hurt.

    lol.. i knew he was laying it up all the way.. he would've gotten more grief from his teammates had he dunked it :D

    I'm disappointed, because I enjoy seeing the dunks. I'm pleased because the game was such a solid win, that we can discuss something as trivial and meaningless as this.

    The layup helps illustrate that point.

    So in the end I was both disappointed and pleased.

    He should be in the WNBA if he wants to lay it up...

    Im happy he is SMART enough to know what he can and can't do... Had he missed the dunk, he would have went to get a MRI and a few other opinions.
