I miss watching him drop buckets on whoever was guarding him a few years ago. It also seems that Yao doesn't get as many easy buckets without a healthy t-mac. Artest is pretty good, but he's no t-mac on offense. At least he makes up for it on the defensive end (for the most part).

    Kwame,

Where is Shane? He is on our team too. He is the best defensive player on
our team and always gives 110% on the court. His passion to win as a team
player and always do what's best for the team outweights a few more points
    from him. Defense wins championships.

Shane is a great guy and a good role model for young kids. The city of Houston is lucky to have him.

It baffles me you have such biased opinion on Shane. How low can you get?

I could not miss him less. With lacadaiscal McGrady as our team leader, we played down to our opponents. After the Memphis game tonight, it is clear that the team has taken to Yao's discipline and Artest and Battier's hardnosed qualities. I would love to have McGrady's talent back for a few dire situations, but on the whole, I prefer the big three of Yao, Arest, and Scola.

i love tracy...but strangely, dont miss him.
dont miss him disappearing in the 4th in the big games.
dont miss screaming at the tv 'DRIVE! DRIVE!' while watching him shoot ill-advised 3's.
dont miss his whole body-language just being sort of 'ho-hum' in really emotional games. i think every superstar NEEDS to get himself ejected sometimes...throw a punch, etc. when lambier kept playing rough with Jordan, he took a swing.

i really love t-mac...i did, at least.

i dont miss him...and im genuinely surprised.

    I dont like him,T-M.

The guy get the highest salary, but always push responality to others when ROX lost games or didnt pass 1st round.

He always said he can win Champnion if party with Oneal,Garnet.
Who is he? Kobe? Allen+Pierce? no. He's worse than Wade, and he's always jumpshooter. He never play roles like Wade,Parker,Kobe,Lawry.

My problem with most T-Mac haters are that they simply DO NOT KNOW BASKETBALL or THEY DO NOT LOOK AT THE WHOLE PICTURE!!! Since T-Mac has got to Houston, there has been a lack of talent. That is the problem. When evaluating a teams talent, what I always look at is who is your 3rd best player and how strong is your bench. In 05', our 3rd best player was Bob Sura, a player we signed towards the end of free agency. Nobody else wanted him. He was hurt the whole year, plus we did not have a bench. That series went like all of the other series has gone the past few years. Because the Rockets did not put together a bench, Dallas, like Utah, wore down the Rockets gradually of the course of the series. When you can through 2 or 3 players like Dallas and Utah did, they wore Tracy and Yao down. By game 7, they were dead tired!!

Keep in mind, our 3rd best player for the past 4 yrs has been Rafer Alston, enough said. On, any other contending team he is 5th or 6th. Right now on the Magic he is probably 7th, behind Lee and/or Peitrius. keep in mind T-Mac Haters, every star is not going to be Yao Ming, look at Kobe. When the lakers were loosing in the 1st round, he was whining, he wanted to be traded, he even quit in the play-offs against Phoenix. But now that they're winning and he has talent around him, he is the best team mate ever, now they call him a leader (before none of his team mates liked him).

Now that the Rockets have a legitmate bench and they are playing well, most people are saying they are better off without T-Mac. Well since he needed microfracture surgery you IDIOTS, you are probably right. I think they will make it out of the 1st round this year, not because most of you haters think Von Wafer is better than T-Mac, but because of the things I mentioned earlier. Their 3rd best player now is Luis Scola and they have a legitmate bench (what a difference talent makes).

Here is a question you T-Mac haters. What would this team look like with a healthy McGrady?

I'll even give you T-Mac up thru last year. He played really well after Yao went down.

This year's T-Mac has been a completely different player.

Edit: So no, I dont miss this year's T-Mac.

I don't miss him a bit...in fact i want to trade this fool if i can. And get another legit player that can contribute off the bench. Trade Tmac for a 6th man of the league that's what we need.

Only his effort in the playoffs, nothing much more.

    O yea, can't forget the 22 and the 13 in 35.

Other than that, good day to you T-Mac.
