Awesome mix. Man, I really miss that Tracy. I hope he can return next season, and be somewhat the player he used to be.

Haven't Ron run around with the ball thinking he is a star is driving me insane.

hey i acknowledge tmac's ball stopping on offense and his affect on team chemistry... i do. but... c'mon... we're not BETTER without him. we would struggle for a bit until our team found a rhythym and then we would hit 3rd gear and it would be over.

mcgrady may have had the same starting 5 for the last few years, but give the guy even a smidge of credit - he has adapted to all of the roster changes over the last few years and gotten to a 4/5 seed in a very tough western conference.

who cares if he stops the ball occasionally? don't see yao or ron cutting to the hole...

you're crazy if you really think he would destroy our team chemistry. think back to how well we played without yao... a motivated tracy mcgady can accomplish amazing things.

is there enough basketballs to go around? i think so. if we have, at least, the 07 mcgrady.

it's nice we're winning but a healthy mcgrady on this team would be friggin scary. and let's be honest... how much more confident would you be in the playoffs if mcgrady were on this team? for me? ALOT more confient.

A healthy T-Mac is about as fun to watch as anyone in league history.

It was a fun five minutes.

Lets also not mention his inability to hit a wide open 3 pt shot.

McGrady shot the 3-pointer well this season, and to me he shot them better open than contested.

Uh, T-Mac was a much better shooter wide open on a catch n shoot than off the dribble. If he would take less 3's off the dribble his numbers would approach the 39-40% range.

Heck he was 37% this year hobbling around.

In fact this year is the only year I've seen him shoot his open shots better. Lets not mention his free throw % was alot better then his horrendous rubbish from last year.

Its not plausible to think he would get more open shots this year with Ron Artest around (assuming he actually gets the ball of Ron). Or Ron Artest will get more open 3 pointers himself.

The fact of the matter is, if T-mac is handling the ball with Ron Artest, Yao Ming and Shane Battier we effectively have a team like Orlando, deadly from three land with two spacers (Ron and Battier have decent set 3 pointer shots) and a triple guy (T-mac) and a guy who lands double teams in the post whenever he gets the ball. Its really not that hard.

if we had last years tracy now, no one would complain about all the drama he has caused this year. I want somebody that can close out close games. It doesnt have to be tracy. Just anybody.

T-Mac is the only one who can close games for us, he is our go-to-guy when we need to score in the 4th, cuz no he is not a ball stopper (see Artest) and he does make his teammates better without being turnover prone (see Yao). Yeah I miss a healthy T-Mac, his clutch baskets or nice dishes to teammates that he setup by drawing the double team. Honestly, would you want Yao with the ball for the last possession or T-Mac? For me it is a no brainer, I would go through T-Mac everytime, he's just better in crunch time than Yao. Wish T-Mac was healthy and with us this season, damn injuries every year.

McGrady is a rhythm player who needs the ball in his hands. Catching and shooting requires moving without the ball which is something McGrady was never known for.

Well, we definitely need him to play (when he is healthy) when Ron and AB played like his tonight. I am sure TMac can play PG for a while.

Every person that voted no is a liar or jsut plain stupid. When T-mac was healthy he was the leader on the court and the go to guy. You'd be a fool to say this team would not be better with him if he was healthy of course.
