The problem is Tmac's style of play, his dominance of the ball would not help this team all that much and there is no room for Tmac and Artest one would have to go.

I was not talking about Tracy McGrady from this year. We shouldn't talk about how he played this year because he wasn't even 70%.

I am talking about at least 90% T-Mac. T-Mac who played for us last year, or in 2006/07.

T-Mac's style of play?? what do you mean his style of play? how is it? are you talking about him being a ballstopper because when he has the ball the ball doesn't move?

No room for T-Mac and Artest one has 2 go? What about Yao? Im no hater or "only fan" but I hate when guys bash McGrady and Artest as ball stoppers when Yao is a ball stopper himself. Last time I checked once Yao touches the ball the ball stops moving also.

No one needs to go. This year has just been bad luck like other years when no one can seem to stay healthy. Who fault is that? No one but the G.M. He should know that the guy he has targeted are injury prone players. You can't expect nothing major when you have a team that consist of injury prone players.

if i see artest dribble around for 23 seconds again i will kill myself. At least tmac can dribble the f&%*$@* ball and not throw up a fadaway to the left with three guys on him and the last second and hit the backboard not even close to the rim. Anyone who thinks this team is better without tmac is seriously dumb. Look at the lakers. Tmac is not kobe, but he is up there and we need that kind of player. Its apparent to me more and more that we are lacking his play. Healthy of course, not hop-a-long tmac of this year.

Because Yao actually does something with the ball a majority of the time when he gets it. That's his job, to score and back down his man. He should have the ball 50% of the time and then whoever else gets it is whoever else that gets it.

    I miss Tracy McGrady.

I understand his faults, but I always felt we were close when he was here. Now he is gone and the ball is being shared as everyone wanted, but we dont seem to be any better. All I hear is how come the ball isnt in Yao's hands, which is one thing McGrady always did, set up Yao.

I'll never forget mac's dunk on bradley and the 13 in 35 though. It's a sad sad case when you look at McGrady and the promise that he showed with this franchise.

How often did Artest draw double teams last night, DD? How was the ball movement with Ron on the floor?

I know Ron can hit some jumpers going to his left, but it's always somewhat a prayer. He just can't dominate like McGrady could, which then opens up Yao. That's what I liked about the T-Yao duo. Even if they had to take turns, one getting hot opened up opportunities for the other since they were both dominant. Artest is just a really good 3rd option who wants to be 1A.

I don't get why any reporters from like SI, ESPN, or like even local reporters go over to Chicago/Florida where he is rehabbing and grab an interview from him. I know how much the Houston media hates him, but I think he's due for an interview.

    Horrible....simply HORRIBLE...

It is worse with Artest, but he is a better shooter than Tmac, and plays more within the system....by a little bit.....

Tmac is a good passer but kills ball movement, neither is a perfect fit for a Rick Adelman team offense or a Yaocentric offense.

I actually would rather we traded both of them.....

A big fat NO!!!! The mad had 0 ability to drive to the basket. Maybe because it was his age, his heart, his decline in athleticism, or just poor spacing from his teammates. But if he was 2 for 11 he would keep on jacking them and that really pissed me off. I can't tell you how many games I've been to where I screamed from the poor man seats yelling " Drive to the damn hole" even with all the eyes on me from other spectators. It pisses me off just thinking about it. This is the same Tracy McGrady who couldn't get pass Old man Fischer when it was a 1on1 situation. That is totally embarrassing.

Also the fact that he just stands there like a dumb donkey when the ball is not in his hands and is not effectively trying to get open by setting up screens or just moving without the ball. His D is average at best but that is ok because I don't want him to waste to much energy on D as long as he attacks (ala aggressive) the rim.

T-mac is done and I hope and pray the organization moves his butt out of here. Maybe it's not his fault but he doesn't belong in the Rockets organization. He disrupts the flow and needs touches so much that are teams ability to play "Team" ball goes down the pooper.

T-mac thank you for that amazing comeback against the Spurs but that really is the only bright memory I have of you.
