I did end up apologizing next time i saw her and she was still crying saying she felt violated, etc. And immediately gave her a soft fak to make her feel better. We are still friends today and we continued sex on and off for years, but bc of that night i never felt any emotion for her again.
Yes I have been cheated on. When you date a lot it is bound to happen. When I was 16-21 it really bothered me, I felt as if I had done something wrong. By my mid 20's I had a very different opinion of sex and what it did and did not mean. Now, I would tell someone else if they are cheated on to stay calm accept the news and just emotionally and physically move on. Getting upset only feeds the cheaters ego and honestly doesn't solve the problem. I have never cheated but have had wonderful open relationships where I slept with other women and vice versa. It just does not phase me. My wife and I are in an exclusive relationship, I am fine with that too.. Both of have a similar view of sex so it works.
Facebook, and at one time Myspace, is a pretty easy way to catch cheaters these days. Probably Twitter too.
all I know is when I say "Don't cheat on me, or you will see my power" doesn't work. So, I've learned to say Please baby Please baby baby baby please.
I wonder how many people who cheat were cheated on and do so as a defense mechanism. You'd be surprised to see how many women in relationships list themselves as "single" on dating websites.

In my experience, cheating is about how attentive we are being to our partner (in many different ways but primarily sexually) + opportunity.
