    My family moved out of Houston in 2000 and I really did not follow the Rockets that much until the arrival of Yao. With all the hypes around the Great Wall, I started to pay attention to the Rockets again.

    Clutchfans has been instrumental in keeping me a Rockets fan. It has been a great experience since I joined.

    If you came here for Yao, you are a Yao fan, and to me, a minimal Rockets fan.

    What is a true Rocket fan? IMO, if you spend time on this forum, you are qualified as one. We all became Rockets fans for one reason or another. For the duration of time that one stays interested in Rocktes, he is a fan.

    I followed the Rockets incessantly during the contending years, then fell off. Started following again the year the Rockets lost to the Lakers in the 1st round with Francis, Mobley, and Yao. Hadn't backed away since. I joined clutchfans while searching for more Rockets news.
