I'm not a lurker...i just don't post that much anymore because i'm usually busy with stuff now that i'm back at school. I've been getting in like 3-4 posts a day though.
HEHE......I am definitely a lurker. I am pretty much on this site everyday, but rarely post, especially during the offseason. I enjoy reading what everyone else has to say though. I am hooked on this site like crazy though, always checking if there is something new that has happened.
Just thew it together based on whether or not I recognized the name immediately. I know that it isn't 100% accurate, as demonstrated by me categorizing you as a lurker when you're obviously a poster (1000+ post count).
how many of these so-called lurkers are also guys who download music but don't share? I wonder if it's a personality thing. FYI, I don't. As for my post count, it is the summer and I guarantee my involvement will increase once the season starts.
So this thread is basically calling every lurker out to defend themselves.....but if they are lurkers will they even post? hmmm one of those questions.
No way. Those are two completely different situations. Used to lurk all the time, and I did it because I really loved the topic (in this case Rockets) and wanted to get content about it, but was either too shy to post, or didn't have anything to add. Music leechers are doing it because they are jerks that don't care about being selfish. And in my case, it used to take a lot of time for me to write a reply because I always struggle to put my thoughts down into words. So I practically didn't have the time to put into writing responses. Nowadays I try not to make it perfect and live with it being essentially what I want to say. I'm sure with most lurkers, it's a combination of not enough time to write, shyness, and not being able to add anything.
