My first couple of years here I was a big time lurker. I didn't post much at all.

But in the last 2 seasons or so, especially last season, I have started to become an active poster here.

    You consider me a lurker??
Man, I blew through another thousand posts without even realizing it. If that makes me a lurker, then the definition has no meaning! :)

Dude, he's not talking about you. He's talking about all the names that we don't recognize as posters.

I think that with Deck, Moon, RM95 and Madmax on the list, the average postcount of that list has been elevated enough that none of them should be considered lurkers.

A while ago my average post per day thingy went above 10. I decided to lurk until I got it down to 8. If it hits 9, I'm going back to lurking.

I've tried lurking and it didn't go so well. I don't know how you guys do it.

I don't know how y'all post so much.

I think I've started a thread maybe twice in my entire time here, and I prefer not to post unless I have something new to add.

    You people are machines.

I'm definitely a lurker. I think it shows me as Member #36 and not even upto 550 posts yet ...

Usually, I just enjoy reading what everyone has to say and who cares what I have to say anyways ...

But if there is something interesting I see somewhere, or if I feel the need to add something, I'll post ... otherwise, it takes too much effort ...

I've only started a handful of threads. Almost all of my posts are in threads that looked like a good spot to put what I might otherwise have started a thread about... reducing thread clutter. Sadly, that doesn't always work, but it's still my style. As for how much I post, I honestly don't pay attention to the number. When I think to look at it, my usual reaction is .

And Ender, you should know that replicants are machines and humans... in short, androids.

I am Rick Deckard, Blade Runner. I think I am human...
And I don't dream of electric sheep.

We have a sheep lover around here already.

I rarely have time to post; I dip in here a couple a times a day and see if anything new has come up. Most of the time I get my news and daily scoops right here before I go to any news sites.

Hell look at my post #'s, there are some people around who have the time to post and some that do not, and I thank the ones who do so I don’t have too.

the best way to spot a lurker is the posts per day average.

i have an average count of .78... i think that would be average. the person earlier in this thready whose got a ten post per day count....is not a lurker ;)
