Every once in a while I try to play samples of the latest songs on itunes or Music Choice... or somewhere... just so I'll know what's happening out there in the world. But I can only remember bits of two of these, and even then because I tried doing the above.
I have heard The Fray's song. The first time I heard it was on American Idol. I guess I'm not cool. Especially because these songs all sound far too stupid for me to even spend time to listen to them.
Uh, these play on the pop radios like 24/7. I'm not sure exactly how the miley cyrus sounds like but I'm sure I heard it before. The rest are easy. notice the great lyrics... The Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow boom boom pow Lady GaGa - Poker Face can't read my, can't ready my, can't read my poker face... Flo Rida - Right Round you spend me round, right round, right round... Miley Cyrus - The Climb Soulja Boy Tell 'em Featuring Sammie - Kiss Me Thru The Phone worse song here Kid Cudi - Day 'N' Nite day n nite jamie Foxx Featuring T-Pain - Blame It blame it on alc alc alc alc alc alc alcohol~ T.I. Featuring Justin Timberlake - Dead And Gone Eminem - We Made You The Fray - You Found Me Most are only interesting after a few listens but after that, it sounds more and more like garbage from overplaying.
ive heard these The Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow Lady GaGa - Poker Face Flo Rida - Right Round Soulja Boy Tell 'em Featuring Sammie - Kiss Me Thru The Phone Kid Cudi - Day 'N' Nite jamie Foxx Featuring T-Pain - Blame It T.I. Featuring Justin Timberlake - Dead And Gone Eminem - We Made You The Fray - You Found Me bold=albums i have and ringtones. will soon get BEP and EMINEM
The ones I've heard and I don't really listen to much music anymore : Lady GaGa - Poker Face Flo Rida - Right Round Soulja Boy Tell 'em Featuring Sammie - Kiss Me Thru The Phone Kid Cudi - Day 'N' Nite jamie Foxx Featuring T-Pain - Blame It T.I. Featuring Justin Timberlake - Dead And Gone Eminem - We Made You I only listen to music when I'm driving on long trips and even then, it's usually to XM. I'm 38 and as I get older, I find myself not listening much to pop music and more looking for world music, jazz, etc. when it comes to music. If I hear Soulja Boy on the radio again, I swear I'll shoot it... this idiot needs to be tied up and thrown in a basement for the rest of his life so he stops making "music". There's music I love and hate, but it's rare for me to say an artist "sucks", but this would be the case. I don't even find Lil Wayne as annoying as this no-talent assclown. There...I said it.
I think it's actually the uncool test. Unfortunately I've heard em all-Thank you radio! I will raise my hand up and admit to being uncool but I can say I hate all the above songs w/ the exception of TI/JT and The Fray.
Heard ALL of them. On a 10-scale, maybe three of those rate above a 3. I still feel like an irrelevant past-my-prime washup though. Music can mean anything and everything, and absolutely nothing all at the same time. Can be elitist with it, can be lowest standard with it. As long as its not repressed and everyone gets to hear what they want, its all good.
9 of them all, except for Kid Cudi song, I probably heard it, just don't know who sings it I don't listen to the radio much other than to just find songs to put on my G1 and mix playlist Fray is probably the best song on there, the BEP song i didn't like at first, but its going to be one of those songs that will never get out of your head. btw, iMeem ftw on the G1
Just judging from the names I can only say 2. Poker Face has been all over the place lately, and my girlfriend loves it...so that one is kind of inevitable. Right Round, assuming it's what I think it is, is one of the songs the Power Dancers perform to...I think. I know I've heard it at a Rockets game. I don't often download music, and my radio pretty much stays on 610am.
Lady GaGa - Poker Face Flo Rida - Right Round Kid Cudi - Day 'N' Nite T.I. Featuring Justin Timberlake - Dead And Gone Eminem - We Made You I've only heard these 5 songs, and out of them I only think "Dead and Gone" is worth a damn. Man, I had no idea I'd feel so OLD and unhip at 27.
I'm ashamed to admit that I've heard all those songs with the exception of Miley Cryus and The Fray. I don't listen to the radio and I mostly listen to hip and hop and rnb on my ipod, but they bump that stuff relentlessly at clubs and bars, which is where I've been exposed to it.
I don't listen to any of that, the Lady Gaga one is pretty unavoidable though. I've had it in the vicinity of my ear drums.
