19, I guess I'm the lowest so far.

I don't know if that makes me an insufferable movie snob, or just highlights my inability to sit still for two hours.

    15.

It's not that "I've got better things to do than watch movies," so much as it is that "I've got better movies to watch than these ones."

Most of these movies are merchandising props for childrens' toys.

    36.

It would be significantly lower if I didn't have a daughter in Kindergarten who likes the Disney movies.

first thing that comes to my mind is that sci-fi really really packs box office punch. so why is that they don't make enough good sci-fi flicks anymore?

I think starting with Twister and Independence Day, almost all big movies are formulated. Once every movie had to have a love interest sub-plot they started to suck. That's why LOTR was cool, they didn't screw with it too much.

Wow, I thought Ghost was THE definitive romance movie that all girls had to see. At least that one scene...

36, not counting movies I saw only parts of.

How did Twister make so much money? I went and rented it after I got hit by a tornado, but I can't think of any other motivation one could have to see it.

    22. Same here, can't sit still for two hours. :) And, if I do, I want to go out and do something active, or at least interactive, for the rest of the day.

Still, I would have seen more of them but my husband hasn't been interested in them (LOTR, the cartoons). So, if I don't happen to find someone to watch them with, I don't see them. I'm not so much of a movie fanatic that I would rent them only for myself. Better things to do, or so I'd like to think. :)
