For McHale, anyone but Lin. Lin will be bench warmer by the time his contract end her, if he will be here.

zero because Lin will be traded. McHale will be showcasing Lin running the offense to get max trade value. He couldnt do this if Lin was a starter.

25 tops. Probably closer to 18-20.

First mistake or screw up, he'll be pulled. Aaron Brooks, get in there! LOL

Jarrett Jack averaged 30 minutes off the bench last year with a clearly superior starting point guard. One would expect Lin to average that much if not more with a slightly inferior starting point guard. But with McHale you never know. In fact, I doubt it. I'm gonna say 26-28

I think the Rockets will play 3 guards in their rotation. Between the 2 guard positions there are 96 total minutes; 48 minutes each for the point and shooting guard. I figure Harden is going to get around 34-36 minutes a game so that leaves a good 60-62 minutes between Jeremy and Beverley. I will say that they both average around the same time at 30 minutes a piece or one is going to have slightly more minutes say 32 to the others 30 or 28. Lin is going to play a lot of minutes.

I agree. This was coming from day one,as Mchale's behavior showed what he thought of Lin.

Don't be fooled. Demoor has written many derogatory articles about Lin. One got him fired from Bleacher Report. He is just trying to ingratiate himself to those he offended. He is young, just a contributor to Yahoo, and he needs as much good will as he can get.

Mid 20s. Because of his linconsinstancies. When he's hot 30+, when he's not around 18-20.

He has those games where he can't miss, and McHale will make sure to keep him out there for those.

I didn't vote because I disagree with the premise that you need to play 30 minutes to be a "6th man". I looked at the voting for the last 3 6MOY voting, and only 7 guys averaged over 30 minutes.

    I'm guessing 28-30 minutes.

This is a stupid poll. If you are doing a poll, it should be how many minutes Jeremy should play!

Ani't it the truth. The anamosity between Mchale and Lin was obvious early on last year. He berated Lin in public. (Nets game). I never saw Mchale do that to another Rocket.

Assuming he continues to play off the bench, there's a chance that he could get 30+ minutes but this is rare. He'd have to really excel this season. More likely, he'll play 25-29. I'd be shocked if he gets less than 25.
