Horrible suggestion. If you have bad knees, hips and ankles, upon getting into the pool you will likely sink to the bottom and drown.

    I eat 3 meals plus a decent-sized snack.

Breakfast- Oatmeal with banana and peanut butter
Lunch- Salad with tuna or sardines or leftovers
Snack after work- crackers or rice cakes with hummus or peanut butter
Dinner- Anything, usually meat and vegetables

I've looked at these TDEE calculators and such and I find that it's pretty difficult to even reach that most days.

3 times a day. My wife and I eat healthy. She was a nutrition major but her wedding business took off and she decided to pursue that instead. We mainly eat Whole30 so no dairy, no wheat, no grains, no legumes, and no added sugar. I'm a firm believer that you are what you eat and I love the way I feel eating the way we do. We do make exceptions for wine and the occasional bourbon though ;)

I eat 6-8 meals a day but then I'm not a regular Joe. I work out 4 times a week and need to keep my body fuelled at all times

Sounds like a pretty intense workout. Stick with it my bro. Keep that goal firmly in mind and it's guaranteed to manifest ☺.

    On a typical day...

Breakfast - 2 hard boiled eggs
    Lunch - salad with protein
    Dinner - protein and veggies

Will usually snack on fruits or nuts throughout the day
