Between not foling, bad lineups and questionable tactics, how many losses do you pin on the coaching staff so far?

    3. Lakers, Philly, Mavs

Should be 11-2 easy even with an average coach instead of a clueless one

I'm with everyone in thread so far. All the loses except Clippers loses due to coaching/bad tactics. Team should be 11-2.

I'm pretty sure we beat the Raptors unless I was dreaming.

Yea, my bad. I keep mixing up McHale's missed foul at the Raptors which led to a double OT, with the sixers one which we lost.

If we had a real coach, not a clap-clap-clap "come on guys" clap-clap-clap sort of coach, we'd only have lost those two games to the Clippers.

Can you imagine the narrative if McHale loses his job (even if he deserves it) with Dwight Howard on this team? It would be the ESPN story of the century, and we'd never hear the end of it.

Still think it comes down to on the court execution and a buy in from all the players to commit to team defense more than anything else.

No single play is going to cost or win you the game. You shouldn't be in that situation in the first place.

this is possible, but also under consideration would be this team's twin epic collapses to close out the prior 2 seasons before howard even arrived

Agreed. Poor coaching cost us these games, no question.

I hate this excuse. If the game is 2-3 pts on the last play. Yes it will cost or win you the game and just because they are in that situation does not excuse a god awful play.

Yup. Seems like the majority think that we should have won the 3 games vs Lakers, Sixers and Mavs if we had a coach(es) that could use rotation, timeouts and set plays properly.

Couldn't have beaten the Clippers they were hot at the time.

    11-2 easy!

If we had fouled during the Sixers and Lakers games when we were up 3 with 1.5 secs, we could have won without needing to go to OT.

    No defensive adjustments,

Stopped playing the inside out, p'n'r game that got the big lead,

Ran the starters into the ground with lack of a rotation.

    Didn't use Lin effectively.

    Didn't use D-Mo effectively.

Can't draw up a play after a timeout, ever. (I actually cringe when I see him pick up the little white board)

Should've sent someone in to clothesline Monta or Dirk, like he did to Rambis.

In saying that, I believe that he actually called some good timeouts at the right time in this game, just didn't do anything during those timeouts...smh.
