Armenian might just be the ugliest language I've yet to see or hear. Looks difficult as hell too

Well it isn't so difficult it has a lot of variety ways you can speak it but for me it isn't difficult to learn French grammar.

Only problem is that I don't communicate with nobody on French, I have no "touch" with that language so I miss a lot of vocabulary.

English is the only language that I'm fully fluent in written and spoken but I know enough Mandarin to get by in China. At this point though I'm functionally illiterate in written Chinese but if I'm around it for a long time I can start picking up enough to about a 1st grade level.

When I was younger I had a much greater aptitude for languange and at one point knew enough Spanish to understand what was going on telanovellas and while living in SE Asia started picking up Malay but I've forgotten so much of both that I don't consider functional in either language.

I also studied French for two years in highschool which IMO was a waste of time except where it was similar to Spanish.

yeah but at least those Icelandic chicks look hot while their speaking it ;)

actually i read about some autistic genius who learned Icelandic in maybe a few hours or days or something, but anyways they did mention that Icelandic is generally considered the most difficult language on earth....

and as Daedalus mentioned, those Armenian chicks are brutal! at least they have some good cuisine though, IMO...

    Native Speaker level?
    English, Chinese

Know about 50 most commonly used phrases and can speak about two sentences before they find out you can't say anything else?
    Spanish, Japanese.

Currently learning Japanese, which I feel I can reach semi-fluency level in about 3 years.
