I studied Mandarin for 8 years in college, grad school, and some time in between because I was studying Chinese history. Interest in tai chi came later. I did study with Cheng Jin Cai for a little over a year, but I haven't been out there in a while... now I just practice on my own.

Only English. :( I took Latin in high school and Spanish in college. Unfortunately the college class was worthless because our professor couldn't speak English, so we didn't learn much and he ended up giving everyone A's and B's by default.

Indeed. Though twas Oldnews's use of emoticons in the same fashion as Swoly that caused my momentary confusion.

Sou americano, menino/a(?), mas tinha muitos amigos brasileiros no passado.

E melhor dizer "caralho, que bom" do que "que bom caralho" (ao menos que 'ce seja brasileira, mas nao sigo sonhando, 'ta?)

I can speak, read and understand English and Spanish, and I know a little French and Latin. Although my language of choice is Texan.

<-------- late to the party. Not at work today at all since daughter has FLU. :(

English and Spanish well, both spoken and written.
You mean "somewhat". Should be "Dos. Español e inglés." ;)
None. You should be commended for trying. You probably speak more correct English than native-speakers.
    NICE. :D

Nice to meet you, OLDNEWS. You're NEWnews to me. ;)
