My timesheet says I work 40 hours a week. OT is unacceptable, though in extreme situations, they ("the man") allow it.

In actuality, I work maybe 25-30 hours a week.

And no, I'm not paid enough for it.

I work 6-8 months every year, during which I work about 10 hours a week. Sometimes (2, 3 months a year usually), when I don't feel like working, I tell my boss that I am not feeling good with my knee or toe or whatever, and just take off.

Oh and I think I am awfully underpaid. Good employees like me should get more than 20M a year! Is there any way I can get a raise?

    Sincerely,

    Shaquille O'Neal

    sorry just cannot help it...

When I had retail stores it was 7 days per week open to close (12hrs per day)

Now with only ecommerce it averages about 1/2 hour per day with the exception of 2 months in winter when I hibernate in the office and work on updating the sites.

    40-50 in the office hours
15-20 out of the office hours (meetings, time with clients)

But I leave early (4:00 if its nice outside), relax and then work from home or go back later on.

I either work or go out and don't watch any television (non-CNBC)
    except my beloved rockets games.
