84 hours a week for the past month. Normally around 50 hours a week. I think I'm paid pretty well.

I'm usually around 38 or 39 hours. Management gets b****y if I hit overtime...

I'm at work for about 45 hours a week, but actual work is about 20 hours. If you haven't guessed already, I work in I.T.

I'm paid well compared to most people my age, but I do feel I'm a bit under paid. That will hopefully change this Friday when i'm due for my annual salary increase.

I work about 25 hours per week at one job. Making about 500 per week.

I work about 5 hours per week at my second job. Making about 250 per week.

I have a great, fun job that is occasionally interspersed with periods of drudgery. Typically 40-45 hours per week, but vacation time is good... 8 hours every two weeks. I'll only work about a week total between Thanksgiving and New Years.

Of course, I also have chunks in the summer where I work 16 hours a day for 14-21 days straight, but that's the best part of the job...

I think a lot of people here are counting time posting on ClutchFans.net as "working" time ... haha

Same here. My work averaged 92 hours a week. Interns are low maintenance and LOVE overtime!!! I had nothing better to do over summer so I didn't really care. Paychecks were great

The joys of a maintenance job. When it's all running, you get paid for being there. (My job moves from maintenance to improvement as necessary.)

I "work" about 15 hours/week but I'm actually at work for about 25 hours/week. I work 3 hours per night with 2 hours in breaks. I get paid way more than what I would probably do the same work for in other circumstances.

I'm a musician (piano/singer) and I consider myself very blessed. Had I to do it all over again, I would not change jobs, but I would have learned to do what I'm doing now sooner in life.

Well, I work for an EMS service. We are 911 in 2 counties...we are over worked, and under paid for what we do.

It's why i'm back in college...gotta get some kind of degree.

I agree with you completely Isabella. I'm another one of the .Net programmer types on here and I work exactly 40 hours a week as a contractor for the Harris County Flood Control District. I think that I am compensated well for what I do, and it's definitely the lowest-stress job that I have had so far.

Some part of me says that I need to work harder so that I could retire earlier, but I figure that I'm going to want to keep working for a long time anyway. I enjoy what I do and I spend most of my spare time working on my golf game, so I have to watch the burnout on that end too.

Ironically, if I had kids I think I would have to find a consultant job where I could get paid at a similar rate per hour but work about 20 hours more per week to support our lifestyle and retirement.

    40 flat.

No significant raises here, no bonuses, and no chance of promotion, so I do the bare minimum, and that's why I've been looking for a new day gig.

I'm sick of the public sector and want to get back into the private sector.

    Easily 50 hours a week.

But I enjoy every minute of it. The money is good but not near as important as loving my boss, the company and especially my work environment. Hell, it's 8:30 and I'm still in my pjs.

Doesn't sound like much of a business proposition.

Nope. It was taken by John McColgan in 2002. It's perhaps the most famous wildfire photo ever.
