    First of all...FIXED.

2nd of all, I think at this point holding onto Martin's stock and waiting for it to rise is along the lines of doing the same thing for Enron stock.

I'd only trade him if we can get something good back for him. It's that simple.

It is not that he can't score 30 any more. It's his ugly game that nobody can watch..... He should be with Adelman. Guy is maxed out.

The sad thing, to me, is that it's not even about whether or not he makes shots in the 4th quarter... I just want him to TAKE shots.

If he's not willing to change his mentality in the 4th quarter, he's not worth having.

Oh sorry what did the team win again last year with Mr. Efficiency playing?

    Sorry you lose.....

It is not about stats, it is about championships.

Morey needs to trade him soon. His value is plummeting.

No, I'm going to say the loser is the guy who told us again and again that that team was a contender, based on future "alpha dog" "franchise players" like Chase Budinger and Aaron Brooks.

They may take your threadstarting, and your green bars, but they may never take..your freedom..... to rewrite history and revisit your comically inept prognostication non-skills!

what is the thread topic? The Rockets decided to trade Kevin Martin months ago - it's a non-issue as to whether or not he's on the trading block. He was literally traded.

The only thing even remotely new here (though the behavior is not new....) is watching you try to open up the ole "can of told ya so" - which generally reserved for occasons on which you are most spectacularly, profoundly, and comprehensively wrong.

True, the only difference is I wanted him traded last year, I am even ahead of Morey, and way way way way way way way way ahead of you.

The thread question should really be how many games do you need to decide that this team as currently constructed is a lottery team? Anybody that studies basketball should be able to see it by now. This team is not going to the playoffs as currently constructed.

It's really not Martin's fault that there's not a prime time big on this team for him to play off of. It's not Martin's fault that Adelman is gone and McHale is the coach and McHale coaches a different brand of basketball.

What is Martin's fault is when he whines and doesn't give maximum effort. I'm not going to make excuses for him, but 90% of players in the NBA and 90% of players on championship teams will whine and dog it if they are playing for a lottery team. So, in that reagard, Martin is no worse than the rest of the league. But, he's not better either.

Martin is a nice 3rd option on a championship contender. He was a perfect for Yao and Lowry. He is not a good first option on a lottery team. We either have to trade him or trade for a superstar big man and another primary scorer for Martin to play off of. I don't see us being able to get either one of those without using Martin to get them. So, I'm convinced Morey is going to trade him...and Scola....and possibly even Lowry if we can get our superstar alpha dog that way.

Kevin Martin should be traded to Minny, he would thrive there.

He's a priority trade. On the other hand, Morey's probably always looking for a trade.

I'd trade him, Scola, Budinger, and Hill for Kevin Love.

Just another time this all blew up in Moreys face. I wish he could just for once get it right. It was time to trade him last year. At his all time high in value. It was the time to get something last year. LIKE ALL THE TIME WITH MOREY. One year too late.
