There main rotation they are now using in the last couple weeks of the playoffs, 2 of those players were injured most of the season/playoffs.
Have a think of that, they made it to the Conf Finals, without there main rotation, and 2 core bench players.

F/A's and Ring chasers will be flocking to the Heat next year, as they will only get better, as they are just still learning to play together.

So next year they will be adding to a NBA finals team, Haslem, Miller, MLE player, ring chases, draft pick and a LLE, and losing really nothing at all of value.

We have to wait and see if Miami is able to trade Chris Bosh for Dwight Howard when Orlando realizes he ain't stayin.

because there's gonna be a 5 year lock out and LerBon will be 32 by the time the season resumes.

That all depends on what other teams do. If Chicago can move Boozer for a scoring 2 guard they will be dangerous. If Oklahoma trades for CP3 or signs Howard in 2012 they will be on the Heat's level. If Howard goes to the Lakers they are right back in it for the next yr or two. With no major moves nobody is beating them.

no more than 3 in a row. how long has it been since a team won 4 in a row? in '66 the celtics completed 8 in a row. since then no team has won more than 3 consecutive championships.

maybe the heat can win a pair of 3-peats?

There will be a lot of OKC/Miami finals in the next few years if the teams don't implode with injuries or idiotic moves.

Voted 8 just because it's hilarious.

But the biggest thing that'll stop their consecutive title run will be Wade's durability. There's going to be that vulnerable period where Wade's too banged up and old, but they can't just get rid of him for anyone else.

Wade is 29 and his contract is...6 years I believe? Can't see him balling at his current level when he's 33, so that's at least 2 years of Miami being stuck with his fat contract but only getting average (maybe 17~18ppg) production from him.

On the other hand, Lebron will be 30 in 4 years, and should still be in his absolute prime.....so, if Lebron can will Crapland to the Finals, you never know what he can do with an Old Wade.

lol and surround him with who? kmart?

Shouldn't we wait to see if they can win one first?

Wade is aging real fast. He couldn't do much in the Bulls series. Miami's window is actually quite small, even assuming LeBron's athletic ability doesn't decline suddenly.

The don't need him. They need a few more role players, coast thru the regular season and then let your super mega stars do work in the playoffs. It's a simple recipe really and one Morey understands which is why he wants a superstar so badly.

It really depends on what the new CBA looks like. The good thing for Miami is they may be ok either way. If the league still allows things like the MLE then they should get their fair share of ring chasers. If they cut down to a hard cap and eliminate exceptions then they should have a better core than most teams if folks have to get rid of players to get under the cap.

The sad part is they are winning now and they have no reliable starting C or PG, and basically no bench. Haslem is the only reliable bench player. Everyone else is a maybe.

If I'm them and the MLE is around I go after one of Chandler, Dalembert or Jamal Crawford.

The reason the MLE will not go, is that it will kill Free Agency.
Most teams will be over the cap, and players who are free agents, will only have a handful of teams to choose from, which would be a really bad idea.

Miami is in the middle of the league when it comes to total salary, so they will be fine if a hard cap comes in, as it will be most likely based around the top salary teams(80 Mil), as they will not force teams to cut half of there roster.

Currently Dallas total salary is 88 Million while the Heat is at 67 Million!

Hard to see any team winning more than 3 in a row. Look what happened to the Lakers this year, going deep in the playoffs wears teams out.
