I think Will was being sarcastic because everyone here idiotically blames Van Gundy for all the problems the Rockets have. Just like Rudy was blamed for all the problems a few years ago.

Point is the Rockets have drafted/traded/signed players who are lazy, stubborn, and uncoachable. There really aren't many teams who could win with this roster that has zero athleticism and no heart. None of our players have ever really won much of anything.

Dang it! When CD made that trade, I considered what's happening now to be a worse case scenario. I was concerned that the loss of Cato's physical presence was a negative. For reasons unknown, CD & JVG "believed" that Howard was a legitimate replacement even though he's only 6' 9" and plays very soft. Most of the folks here forgot how great a job Cato did stepping in last season at PF and playing along side Yao. Since they made that trade, rebounding and physical toughness at the 4 has been a major black hole this season.

The same thing was also was true for swapping SF3 for Lue/Gaines/Ward. The PG position has also been a major weakness as well. The offensive has not functioned smoothly all season with the prime reason being the lack of a real PG running things properly.

Well, what's done is done and I have no earthly idea how this can be fixed during the season via the trade route. Plus there's also the fact that the doofuses who got us into this situation are the ones who will be making those trades to bail us out - not exactly a situation that fills one with confidence.

He's a valuable player to have around because he could go instant offense at any moment. In the playoffs, we may need a player who can do that. He's not a liability just yet. But his confidence is way down.
