Okay, someone asked for the next ten games. Here they are. Feb 24 Chi 8:00 PM Feb 26 Wash 8:30 PM Feb 29 Mem 8:30 PM Mar 2 Den 8:00 PM Mar 5 Ind 8:30 PM Mar 6 @Dal 9:30 PM Mar 8 NO 8:30 PM Mar 10 NJ 8:30 PM Mar 12 @Atl 7:00 PM Mar 14 Char 8:30 PM
The Rockets had better sweep the next 5 game because they're gonna need all the help they can get in march.
Yeah, March is a bit rough, but we are due for a tough stretch. It still is pales in comparison to November. I have never seen such a grueling opening to a season, and the Rockets weren't ready for it. They will be ready this time.
Denver just beat Boston then got b****-slapped by Gordon and the Bulls. I'm telling you, these things can happen! They'd better bring their A-game every single night
First rule of winning streaks: you do't talk about about winning steak Second rule of winning streaks: YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT WINNING STREAK
Denver, at Dallas, and New Orleans are the only tough ones in this stretch. At Atlanta is a trap game though, and remember that the Rockets did lose there last season. Still, if we don't let up against the Mavs and take care of business at home, this winning streak can go on til mid-March. One thing to keep in mind though. As the streak continues, opponents(even the crappy teams) will be bringing it every night to try to be the one that finally beats us. The Rockets will have to match that intensity.
I think that is true for players, coaches, and maybe those personally close to team members. But winning streaks are exactly what fans and media talk about. I have too much common sense to believe that we can really jinx it. However, for all of you so easily spooked...the last time there was such hype surrounding a winning streak it was the Patriots. Mum's the word for you easily frightened ones!
I think if Denver catches fire, they win. And I think there's a pretty good chance of that happening.
We were going to win all remaining games, but now that you started this thread, we'll lose the next game to Chicago .
