I think they are stupid to continue this style of play where as D Antoni started this style. They have to scrap it and retool the roster. There window is basicly shut now, i dont see any chance of houston being relevant in the playoffs.

The facts are that the Rockets ranked as the stingiest defense in the first round (101.7 points per 100 possessions), and the Lakers stopped playing centers to adjust to Houston's style, so it's quite a stretch to turn the Rockets' relatively early exit into a referendum on small ball.
Basically, yes. Lakers out small ball-ed the Rockets on offense. Rockets inability to protect paint AND the perimeter was the larger problem IMO. Needed to take one of these away.
Small ball or whatever they call it is trash! In spurts I can see it but to make that a mainstay of the offense is overly stupid at this point considering. some form of hybrid offense that allows for 5 out or. 4 out 1 in is needed.
