not in the last game.. 0-4 from the field doesn't support your argument.. and it's not only that night, I've seen him go 0-5 or 0-8 quite often... he can hit SOMETIMES, he is not consistent AT ALL.. and even if he was consistent, I'd rather have Novak or Padgett playing because they can shoot the 3 ball very well and they are NOT as bad as JHO in other areas ...
have u ever watched the guy play?? I doubt it.. because post-up moves are the biggest weakness in JHO's game.. I mean, the only post up move I've seen him do is the fake spin move (very slowly of course) then a baby hook that gets blocked by either the defender or the rim every single time... or, when he is lucky, it hits the iron and goes out...
well, this might be true considering the offensive rebs he's been able to get in the last couple of games.. but that doesn't mean he is a good defensive rebounder. he doesn't know how to block out guys and get inside position and that's why we get killed on defensive rebounding...
higher B-ball IQ? are u kidding me? the guy cant pass the freakin ball without faking six hundred times at the same direction.. he is VERY slow with making decisions, and I think he is the player responsible for bad shots when the clock is running down because once he gets the ball, he holds on to it like 15 seconds and keeps faking passes, faking passes, until Tmac pops out, gets it from him, and jack up a shot with 1 second on the clock (no I am not saying that's what always happens, I am just saying that I've seen this happen quite often)

well I think it should be more like:

if it wasn't for Howard's freak injury involving a viral infection in his heart in 2005, we would've never made it to the playoffs, and if we did, we would have been 8th and we would've gotten swept in the first round.

the game you are referring to is one of these games where JHO gets lucky and starts hitting shots. it's not the "Killer pick and roll" you were talking about.

if it wasn't for JHO's injury in 05, we would've had him play Dirk, and we would've had Dirk dropping a 100 on us and having a Wilt Chamberlain performance . the only reason we almost beat Dallas and we were competitive is because Flying Ryan, the guy who everybody loves to hate on, shut down Dirk with a joint effort with TMac. if Howard was healthy, we would've never played Rybo ...

now I am not saying that his injury was fortunate, I wouldn't be a real Rockets fan if I wished any of our players bad things like that. I am just saying that Juwan wouldn't have had a positive effect if he was playing..

i know this thread is going to be post upon post of juwan haters taking their opportunity to bash on him and that is to bad. since he has been a rocket he has been nothing but a great teammate. he is well spoken, seems intelligent, and has always done what the team asks of him, and stays out of trouble. (except for his love of glasses :D ) why everyone insists on bashing him i dont know, its not his fault he is getting old, he still has a place on this team. now in a way i am glad we will get to see some other players (hopefully not more padgett) but not at the expence of juwans health. when jvg had him on the bench at the beginning of the season he always seemed to be the first off his seat cheering on his temates. he easily could have pouted and caused team chemistry problems like many who had started their whole career would have, but no he took it like a professional. LIKE A MAN SHOULD. i guess if i was making that much money though i would too. :D

So Juwan gets hurt, gets held out, and not one reporter from the Chronicle considers him important enough to ask "how he is doing?"

    WOW !

What ever happened to his robbery of sun glasses *caught on tape*??!?! What a knucklehead!! Was it the rush of getting something for free that spurred him to steal? FOr sure , its not cuz he didn't hav money, he has a fat contract

I was thinking that Juwan was faking the injury so he could have an excuse for his terrible shooting. The chances of him being pulled from the rotation are higher if he doesnt bring up the injury.

    Injured Juwan's production = Healthy Juwan's production.

Not much to write about if he is not missed.

In last season free agency, i thought Shareef was the perfect fit. He can rebound, hit the open jumper or post up and he was a good ft shooter. Most on this board wanted the occasional highlight film in Swift. I still think if its a way they can get SAR they should. he would be tremendous being the complete player at the 4. He's not a great defender, but he's ok. His versitility would do wonders for this team.

It seems obvious that the only thing to do in the face of an injury to JVG's favorite player (according the chuck hayes) is the resign his old favorite player. THE RETURN OF RYAN BOWEN!

or maybe c spoon is tired of playing house dad. jvg would love to have that hustle back.

he's about equal to scott padgett. maybe less because padgett can hit 3's.

More accurate, Injured Juwan's production > Healthy Juwan's production.

My question is; Will Bonzi get activated? Jho will be out and JLIII is already activated in place of Snyder.
