Juwan Howard should get surgery for the hell of it. More PT for Novak and Hayes.

I've got high expectations/hopes for Novak like all of his supporters. But to be gleeful about Juwana Mann getting hurt is just mean.

How many of you jackasses think you know how Novak does in practice and why he doesn't get more playing time? Try making your case without an unsubstantiated "Van Gundy is a dumbass" comments.

    Batter up...

If Novak plays steady backup minutes then by the end of the season his +/- will be better than Juwan's this year or last year.

Sticking my neck out here for ya Stevie!

Oh, I feel so exposed! :D

LOL, racist? Are you kidding? This is not racist. The only racist I have met in this bbs is NewYorker. You are too easy to give out a racist stamp.

If my comment was racist, then so was the scoreboard. The scoreboard wasn't nice to Wang Zhizhi back when he played in the NBA.

I think you will see a combo of Hayes and Battier and Yao (in the post) guard KG. One matchup advantage will be offset by the matchup adv that Yao will cause Blount cause Minn has nothing in the middle so this will wash. It will be up to the Rockets to not let anyone else burn us (M. James, Davis, Hassell, Hudson, Jaric, etc.). Battier will make KG work for it as will our help defense. I'm more worried about the quick guards that we face then the 4's and 5's that could cause problems.

I too would like to see Novak get more minutes as opposed to bearing another game like the one Padgett played...that was painful like a root canal...ask Bonzi.

i'm no psychic, but somehow i feel that jho has his strange aura around him that is essential to the rockets.

maybe we need his cheerleading skills..

i agree. as far as kg goes, i'm perfectly comfortable guarding him single coverage with battier/hayes. maybe run a delayed double every now and then just to give him a different look. i would not put yao on kg 1) because of kg's versatility; 2) because kg is likely to get "superstar treatment" from the refs; 3) because kg won't beat you with his scoring. let battier/hayes/padgett/novak deal with kg. he can do whatever, as long as we shut down the hassels and hudsons.
