So.... Does anybody know what CaseyH's opinion is on Adelman?

I heard Adelman took Yao's foot and actually physically broke it. I've also heard that we're the Spurs and that Yao is Duncan. I've also heard that playing 50 minutes in a game caused a fracture 2 months later - not the amount of stress over the long term, you know, causing a 'stress' fracture. Can anyone confirm these facts?

Also it must have been JVG's fault that Yao was injured before? Or perhaps Rafer Alston's fault?

Or maybe we just have the most gatdamn unreliable star player of this decade? If you're a basketball player making millions of dollars you should expect to put in the same amount of minutes on the floor. If injuries happen, OOPS - looks like you're not cut out for your occupation.

i totally agree with you. that season, Yao played average 37.xx minutes which is way too much for a big size center. even comparing with other smaller center, 37.xx minutes is still a no-brain too many.

We better hope that Yao can stay productive with the increased minutes. If not, maybe think about resigning him and going in a different direction (especially if he gets injured). I'm thinking Yao will want a pretty big salary, and the Rockets don't want to be brian_chapman'ed by Yao.
