I would suspend him 10-16 games.

should be suspended during playoff time. The thunder lost a key player due to idiotic showboating from the one and only. Plus we all know he will be even crazier and stupider come playoff time. Based on his history, he should receive the maximum punishment the league can give.

30 games. This was actually worse than what he did at the malice at the palace.

He shouldn't get more than four. IMO what Bynum did to JJ was much worse because there was no doubt he was intentionally trying to hurt JJ and he had a long history of doing the exact same thing.

Case by case. No soft approach with first time offenders, and no increase for repeat offenders for cases like this. He should miss the season + playoffs. It was intentional and severa IMO.

What really makes me hope that they suspend him long term is that he had the nerve to say in the post game interview that it was unintentional. Who is buying that? I have rarely ever seen anyone put that kind of force behind an elbow, and we have had Hakeem + Mutombo + Artest on this team.

It was worse than attacking fans in the stands and causing a riot?

Playoff suspension(which i doubt will happen, more realistically one series), extensive anger management, community service at an old folks home, and volunteer work for the peace corps.

    Kendrick Perkins is.

Seriously though I think he gets 5-7 games. Part of the reason that is is because Stern is going to want this story to play out in the 2nd round....and yes I think Stern is thinking that way :p

I think it was somewhere between intentional and unintentional. I think it wasn't at all premeditated, but when he and Harden bumped, he got annoyed to have his celebration interupted and lashed out instinctively in anger. If he had a moment to think about it, he wouldn't have done it. That's why he can say with a straight face that it was an accident even when it looks like it wasn't.

So, I think it falls far short of the Palace brawl. He also lashed out without thinking there, but he had a few seconds to reconsider as he was bounding up the steps, and didn't. Here it was really pretty instantaneous. He's not as crazy as he used to be, but he lost control for a moment. Kinda like Love's face stomp. So, a handful of games for losing control and that's it. And, they are playoff games, so each game is a more significant punishment than usual.

Why isn't there a zero game option? It was so obviously just an accident....

At a bare minimum he should miss the first round of the playoffs.

He should be suspended for as long as it takes Harden to return. Then an additional 5 games after that which would mean he misses most of the first round.
