    Before I splurged on nicer ones, I had a pair of KOSS earbuds that lasted me 2+ years. Cost about $10 and were pretty comfortable to boot.

    usually 2-6 weeks, but this last one I bought has lasted 9 months, not sure why

    I always accidentally tear one of the out before either dies. Because of that tendency, I only buy cheapies.
