I think it's close to impossible to not favor a few superstars, especially in their home court with all their fans cheering. The last time someone tried to go against the grain, he got booted off for booting Timmy.
I think David Stern by far is the best Commish in all the major sports...he has done alot for the game and is determined to bring basketball back to the prime of the 80's and 90's
I saw him say in an interview with espn this year, that when he retires, it'll be quiet and unnoticed. It could be tomorrow, it could be in 5 years.
