When his contract is over, Les is gonna have a problem. We all know Morey will hold out as long as it takes(see Landry) for a good contract. Morey might even play the other owners against him. I am sure there are other higher paid GMs performing poorly that the owners would like to replace.
For every cent Les pays Morey, he will save two, and have championship banners hanging all over his office. That's how valuable an able GM is.
Can Yankee swap Brian Cashman for Morey? Seriously, this guy did an amazing job since he came to Houston. He know how to use his brain and money. this guy will be a good baseball GM, I think.
