    I've been in the huddle of too many James Harden interviews to count and he's very much like Tracy McGrady or other major NBA stars. He will give you a little time, but when he's done, he's done. He ends it. He turns and walks away. You can see that in all the interviews I've posted. This one is more blatant. He's a very proud player... I don't think he likes to still be talking about his early season struggles. I think he was trying to send the message of letting his last two games answer that, but I don't know for sure.

    Dwight Howard, on the other hand, is not like that at all. He's very good with the media, very personable before and after.

    I think you hit the nail on the head... It is pride. Harden is an extremely proud player to the point of lashing out at his own teammates. A common trait among many elite players, but sure it isn't fun to be on the receiving end of it.

    Obviously, we don't know his interview history like you do, but that looked like he was having fun. His answer was his look and walk away.

    En Fuego. And the Curry hype is fueling him, probably.

    I don't see the "apparently don't ask Harden" that question

    It's a great meme, for sure.

    He's still a big boy. :grin::grin:

    I'm happy that he's enjoying it now. Rightfully so.

    My feelings exactly. It's quite clear what he meant and just in good fun.

    This could definitely be the reason, but it really does just look like a fun, "After 43 and 44 points, what do you think?" response

    Just more proof that Howard is weak and not a serious competitor!

    I think it was a stupid thing for Bullard to say. Gesh!!

    I think the comment irked Harden, and instead of snapping at Bullard walked away with a disbelief look. Kind of like, I got to stand for this Bullcrap. So he exited the interview.

    When I saw it I couldn't decide what I thought of it. Was he being a jerk? Funny? Aloof? or like someone else suggested he gave his answer with his look and walked off, kind of like dropping the mic.

    Either way, he sure looked like vintage James Harden last night.

    The gif is going to be legendary status on this website for a long long time! :grin:

    I interpreted it as supreme confidence.

    "Yeah, I struggled, but everyone should've known it was only temporary"
