How is Zhou Qi Developing?

Harden and CP3's prime years are essentially forcing Zhou to develop more quickly..... I just dun see many chances for him.

 

If we end up with Melo too, then players like Qi have a chance to contribute. Great players take pressure off others obviously, so Qi - even while he's skinny - could end up being a situational spot up shooting C this season.

We're also going to have to take some chances on the bench because you always need insurance. It never works well when a contender totally ignores that they have crappy/no picks and are not developing any serious prospects behind the scenes. Ian Clark is a good example, Patrick Mccaw is another. These are not stars, but they could develop into role players that can give them tens of millions in flexibility in terms of letting vets walk or investing money in different positions.

Guys like Onuaku, Qi and Troy are in a good spot and we should not hesitate to make them 10th/11th men on this squad over vet min signings.
