Barack Obama and the left have used their divisive political correctness agenda not only to attack and infuriate their opponents, they have used it to inflame and enrage their own supporters, who they knowingly and intentionally have tried to pit against each other.

At the same time they regard and promote their "Political Correctness" agenda as more important than literally anything, including our national security, law and order, the US constitution, civility and national unity, etc. This agenda has been extremely harmful to our country and the people in it are angry to the point where systematic violence is becoming a real concern.

In fact, some people are quite concerned about the possibility of significant violence after the election, perhaps regardless of who wins. That appears to be a very legitimate concern, especially when you take into account the violence and lawlessness we have seen in places like Baltimore, where the Democrats in charge of that city effectively tied the hands of the police and stood by while rioters looted and burned that city.

These are very frightening images to any sane person. Of course, this was not the only incident of rioting, looting or criminal violence that we have see take place over the last eight years by any means. However, it should be noted that in nearly every case, these acts of criminal violence have been conducted by supporters of the Democrat left. I would not put any bets on it staying that way for very much longer.

The rage and hostility that we see engulfing our country right now has been carefully cultivated and nurtured by Obama and the left, because they believe this is an effective way for them to empower themselves - at the expense of the American people. He and his associates thought it would be good to really aggravate the fire out of pretty much everyone. Well, they have achieved their objective, perhaps too well, and our nation is much to the worse because of it.

Barack Obama is the most effective enemy our country has ever faced, hands-down, case-closed, game-over. He really is.

SMH, assume that when I say something I am speaking to the big kids that can see past partisan ties, not childish Obama fanboys. I know to some Obama can do no wrong and honestly I don't really care to talk about it with them. Keep living that delusion if you like.

In less than 8 years the current president has divided the nation like few presidents or events ever have before.....and he made essentially no positive contributions to the nation. His signature bill is a total disaster and is actively failing even before he's left office.

It's not that he's racist (I don't believe) it's that he's seemingly not terribly bright.

If anyone offered a similar evaluation of a substantial subset of black people, he and others of his mindset would call the person offering that assessment, what?

We should apply the same standards equally to everyone, no? And these are their standards, let's remember.

Well of course, but again, he doesn't appear to be very bright.....so what he'd do doesn't exactly matter now does it?

If either you or I really believed that, we would never log into this forum again.

I don't post things for the knuckle draggers among us. I mean, that's often who I end up arguing with, but if someone is truly an idiot, I try to not let the discussion go on too long. I'd rather find someone that disagrees with me AND has at least a halfway intelligent, halfway thought out stance.

President Obama Isn't the reason the country is divided it's the fact that nation is no longer blinded by the lies that have been told to them Black ,white brown we all see what the good ole boy didn't want the nation to see that there has been injustices taking place in this nation Potus was just the first willing to speak on it.

I wasn't trying to instigate a discussion with these people. They posted comments that were clearly racist, according to the same standards that they apply to others. I wanted to make sure that this was properly pointed out, as these people have demonstrated many times they would do the same under similar circumstances.

Just for funsies I looked up every single time I've called anyone racist on this BBS in my entire 13 year history here.

Here are the victims of my shrill cries of racism:
    • The Chron.com comments section (lol)
    • Richie Incognito
    • Now banned poster Hightop (who was banned for, probably, racism)
    • Anders Brevik
    • My own family (pretty sure I'm qualified to make that call)
    • basso
    • Trader_Jorge (had to reach back to Obama's first election for those two)
So yeah, not exactly the go-to in my bag of debate tricks. In fact, I've spent more time defending people as not racist (bigtexxx and ATW in particular) and being called racist myself (criticizing Islam is fun like that).

Fair enough. I'm just saying that you probably shouldn't expect much of them and you certainly shouldn't stoop to their level.

I think Trump was a bubble that's going to burst and a more moderate common sense "conservative" party will emerge.
