played okay one shot he chucked, a few stupid turnovers and a miss rebound. If he's going to take the shot he needs to do what he can to make the shot.
We need an upgrade at backup SF but right now Casspi is the best we have. I sometimes think we could go small with Harden Lin and Beverly when Parsons was out. But Casspi is the best we have. Not his fault.
He helped the starters win the game. He's doing pretty well if the criticism against him is starting to be yard bird poop. He starting to get there and have an impact.
I don't understand, why is 7.5 pointd, 3.8 boards, 1.3 assist on 43% and 35% from 3 in 20 mins off the bench bad? His defense is pretty solid as well. Those numbers from Casspi are better or equal to Matt Barnes Dudley Prince Sefelosha Those player are considerd by most to be solid bench quality players, yes they also are considerd to play better defense then Casspi, but IMO Casspi's been solid on D for us.
http://www.82games.com/1314/1314HOU.HTM Among our regular players, Casspi overall has shown to be pretty useful. He's not great and not terrible. A 7th/8th guy off the bench is a pretty appropriate role for him.
Casspi is just underwhelming. You nvr really have confidence In him. I just wish someone would beat him out for the 7th spot in the rotation.
I am glad he is no longer playing the backup 4. DMo took his job. He's where he should be, which is backing up Parsons.
Casspi is garbage...the only person i had confidence from the bench on in the sf position on the Rockets was Delfino, even when he sucked he brought confidence.
Hopefully Hamilton will show something in practice and get a chance in game to pass him in the rotation. Hamilton has the potential to be the perfect 9th man in our rotation.
What's the problem again. Casspi had 7 points in 10 mins. He shot 60% from field and 50% from 3pt plus had two rebounds. His first 3pt attempt was forced as the clock run out. When the guy also works hard every night in D, I take those stats anytime.
He needs to be sharper and makes more of an effort to make the shots he takes but him and Jeremy Lin do a good job in wearing down teams with constant scoring. The rockets wouldn't be a sleeper without him. It's about what he can do in the playoffs anyways.
At the end of 2013, he hit a bunch of threes. Now he's really having trouble shooting. The problem with him is that he's OK with limited minutes, but doesn't really perform when they let him play longer.
Athletes are paid millions and part of it is to deal with annoying fans. We should still respect their privacy outside of basketball. We should also respect the privacy of their family members.
